Reducing Irrigular Migration & supporting Returnees and Displaced Persons

Service Overview

<p>a) Funded by: The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation,</p> <p>b) Technical &amp; Development Partners: International Organization for Migration (IOM).</p> <p>c) Project duration: 1st September 2024 to 30th September 2025.</p> <p>d) Goal &amp; Objective of the Project: To contribute to strengthened safe migration pathways in Bangladesh through raising awareness, supporting sustainable reintegration and providing alternatives to irregular migration.</p> <p>e) Coverage of returnee beneficiaries: 110 Libya returnee migrants &amp; 40 displaced person due to environment, total-150, Aspirant Migrants; Returnees; Bangladeshis vulnerable to Climate Displacement.</p> <p>f) Geographical Coverage: Paba &amp; Charghat Upazila under Rajshahi district but base on necessary, the project can be covered others nearest district.</p> <p>g) Major achievement: Organized the District, Upazila &amp; Union level project inception workshop, Schools selection for arrangement /conducting the art &amp; culture and painting at wall. Selected 40 displaced due to environmental degradation, MIRS both selection at the 10 Union and Libya &amp; Italy returnee migrants&nbsp; selection process is running.</p>
