Organizational Competency & Working Experience

KNUS is committed to improve the livelihoods & socio economic conditions of the poor women & vulnerable households. KNUS has successfully implemented different urban and rural development projects funded by national and international funding agencies such as UNDP, Government, BRAC, World Bank, WFP & Mercury Phoenix Trust. The KNUS management and the Program teams have exposure to work with the poor women & vulnerable community people for their economic development. It has working experience with government sectors like Ministry of Health, Ministry of Social Welfare, Department of Women Affairs, Ministry of Youth, Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Culture and LGED, and other national agencies with an excellent goodwill as well as good reputations. KNUS has developed its professional working relationship with various national and international funding agencies such as World Bank, UNDP & WFP. The organization has the well-defined Organogram including different policies like human resources, administrative, gender, financial and the good governance policy. The senior management has organized regular bimonthly meeting, review the plan/progress, where major decisions are taken and recorded for the distribution among the staff members. 

Personnel relationship, group dynamics, decision making process leadership development and exercising participatory values were emphasized for the group members of KNUS. Despite of it people participation in development process it being ensured. Over the years of its development journey human and skills development training have been imparted to the staff members for enhancing their knowledge & skills for attitudinal changes, so that they enable to develop group members to installation of low cost hygienic latrine for improving their sanitation facilities as well as health hygiene nutrition. Under human resource development program, credit support has been arranged to the group members for operating various incomes generating activities (IGAs) to ensure regular income to alleviate poverty.
